Hello December! November has left me to your care, completely and utterly sleep deprived.
Thursday, 28 November 2013:
Cooking lesson in Knödel and mushroom cream sauce creation with Andreas Krach before a two hour vinyl funk listening session.
Sipping on the most gorgeous gin tonics ever made with Julian at Das Hotel. Seriously, see attached photo:
Carry on to Farbfernseher with Gianni and Andre for a late night dance experience.
Somehow manage to place the Nalu drink order at 4am… though I’m pretty sure I did a poor job of it.
Friday, 29 November 2013:
Ultimate fail at shoe-shopping with Radha. I have monster feet. I did purchase a new umbrella, however, which I’ve needed to replace since mine was demolished in Paris.
Prepare a gratin dish for Kim’s upcoming Thanksgiving dinner party.
Too many drinks at Z bar with the Loock WG fam. Then more drinks at Muschi. Topped off with a piggy back ride home from Andre in order to continue the party in the living room.
Saturday, 30 November 2013:
Leave for work at 9:30am in a dizzy state. The whole apartment still awake or just arriving home. Spend my morning ogling over skateboarding videos with my boss.
Discover how ridiculously attractive my colleague’s flatmate is and feel slight regret over turning down an offer to set us up.
Finish the workday with a White Russian Milkshake and hand whipped cream. Om nom nom.
Copycat Andre by taking a delightful nap on the other half of the living room couch.
Partake in an epic Thanksgiving dinner at Kim’s / Reunite with my Berlin Besties!
Sunday, 1 December 2013:
Paul and I dance our asses off at Monarch to Andreas Krach’s infinitely incredible tune selection.
iPhone runs out of battery while attempting to navigate our way to Rummelsbucht at 4am. Get lost and cold and cranky. Finally find the club. Dance like a maniac to fantastic live electronic set complete with violin and saxophone. Stagger out of club on spaghetti legs at 10amish.
Spend afternoon (half-conscious) with Elisabetta, Dieter, and Valentina knitting, eating, and adventuring. Discover purple carrots. So. F^#%ing delicious.
Spend evening crocheting and nibbling on tasty tidbits at Weinerei with new knitting circle crew.
Check out Jonna’s beautiful, articulate, and melanchoy photography exhibit at Die Neue Schule

Gifted a signed copy of photo book with love. Makes me feel snuggly and at home in Berlin.
Heart to heart with Gavin until 4am.
…Jesus. December, why so emotional?
